Uh-oh! not again… 😫

We have a problem…

A user runs large historical data reports during peak operating hours, causing severe resource locks, and high CPU utilization. Floods the system and freezes everyone/enterprise-wide.

Should we migrate the VPS to a closer data center location? That would mean purchasing a new VPS plan in the target region and manually move all files, databases, and configurations. Since the VPS provider does not support a one-click region switch for existing VPS instance.

But even if we migrate to another data center, lagging and crashes still affects ERP systems at some point, even for big ERP companies like Oracle Netsuite and SAP.

Same problem will still be encountered anywhere we get VPS.

That's why we have ongoing efforts to solve how we deal heavy data growth over time that can progressively slow down a system.

Let me know what you think. I'll be happy to get insights from experienced peeps here.
