Client problem solving in progress… 😆

What would you do if you need to deactivate 80+ records and create the same number of records with the same details, just with 1 field change?

If you do the math, 1 deactivation would take 1 minute at most, encoding a new record could take at least 5 minutes, depending on the encoder’s typing speed and comprehension.

That would be 6 minutes x 80 records = 480 minutes. A total of 8 hours if non-stop encoding.

Now imagine if I do the code for automating the batch deactivation and creation of records, that will take me at least 2 hours with testing (not using AI).

The actual task of the user clicking the BATCH button and processing will take at least 5 minutes.

That’s saving at least 6 hours of labor. 😲

Okay, I’m done writing for the content of the day. I’ll start coding that right now.

Happy weekend everyone!
